What I want to do is I would like to change the title of internet explorer to something I decide, when this toolbar is made visible in IE almost like saying the title should say that the toolbar is enabled or disabled depending on its visibility. I can add a status text by using WebBrowserClass status text but I found no way to make change to title.
Any help appreciated. I tried and it works in Vista so I assume it would work in Windows7 too. This would require Internet Explorer to be restarted in order for the change to be reflected in Internet Explorer rite? I have administrative access. Joined Dec 28, Messages Run is enabled, the two regedit programs are not. I checked the advanced properties of the executables themselves and I have full access to them.
The problem lies in some administrative setting. Joined Jun 27, Messages 6, Retehi-Those two entries will disable or enable Registry Tools. These are the ones at the top of Regedit. I know W2k doesn't have a DOS so be careful.
Joined Sep 16, Messages 1, Close all browser windows Open Notepad. Windows Registry Editor Version 5. As Seen On. In the box that comes up, write whatever you want. This will be the new title. Remember, if you make it too long, IE will not show it. Click OK and close ReEdit. Have fun scaring your friends, promoting other browsers 'cuz IE sux , or in any other creative fashion.
