I had been building my own sites with something called Artisteer, but I just know enough to be dangerous, not enough to figure all of this out. When I uploaded this theme with existing content on my demo site, it was just code everywhere! Thanks for any words of wisdom you can give! It is easier to setup themes on a brand new website with no content. However, it would also work well for an existing website. You will have to follow the documentation to setup your theme.
Basically, you will need to select a separate page for your blog posts and add your pages to navigation menus. Then you can move on to tweaking the homepage.
